TAA seems to be seduced by Pérez’ sweet nothings, so he might be a lost cause.

VVD and Salah clearly wants to stay on the other hand though.

From my read of the situation, I don’t think the ownership want to pay the man his money. A contract extension should in theory be extremely simple to achieve, but it basically guarantees that he leaves on a free next year. They want to recoup his value, and that’s looking a little impossible right now.
