Burnley are advancing in talks to sign Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge.
Berge has one year left on his contract and it was previously believed in Sheffield that the 25-year-old midfielder was happy to run down his terms and leave on a free transfer next summer.
However, Burnley, who have been targeting central midfield as an area to strengthen this summer, are now edging closer to signing the former Genk man.
