Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says the big brains never consulted people in the game with the new injury-time rules, after his side conceded in the 101st minute of the Community Shield.

Why do they need to consult them lol? The players and managers are the ones that they’re working against with these rules, because it’s them that are wasting the time. The commentators were also very dumb about it during the match, it was made clear that the rules are about all the little ways players waste time, from goal celebrations to throw ins to people being slow when they’re subbed off, but the commentators were talking about how there weren’t injuries. Painfully annoying

It’s pretty simple really, if the manager/players aren’t happy with the time being added on then don’t time waste etc the power is literally in their hands!

I’m an Arsenal fan but Lee Dixon on commentary makes me want to mute honestly, painful to listen to… not sure how he keeps getting gigs when he’s seemingly so uninformed about everything.

Grumpy pundits are a thing. I agree, I hate listening to Dixon.

He says this now, because the new focus (not even a rule change) hurt him. Once he’s on the other side he’ll be complaining that not enough time was added due to time wasting.
