Post-game depression is now being studied as a measurable phenomenon, with researchers identifying how finishing a video game can leave players feeling empty, reflective, and emotionally drained.

So that’s why almost nobody finish their games, according to Steam achievements?

That’s the case for me. The last game I’ve “completed” was a game where I can play through multiple different scenarios (Surviving Mars.) I have completed about half the mystery scenarios, and I love being able to replay it and have it be new all over again.

steam achievements are just that … steam achievements.

it’s not the game.

Yeah, i know, I also don’t care about them but they are funny little statistical facts, like “only 20% of the people that played this game beated the tutorial” or “45% of the players didn’t play past the first chapter”.

I am goods at beateding tutorials.
