The expansion of generative AI continues with Cygames recently announcing the formation of an AI studio. Fans weren't happy, and now Cygames have apologised.
Why is it that only the most incompetent people are impressed by LLMs? Is it the sycophantic levels of praise in the text generated by them? Is it the Dunning-Kruger effect, that they are simply incapable of judging the output because they lack the knowledge needed? I suspect both, tbh.
