Microsoft didn’t used to be complete shit.
I used to be really into their hardware and peripherals. They used to make awesome input devices.
I remember discovering that XP had a secret hidden file that kept all your email/browser History. That was like 2002, I haven’t trusted MS since then.
When? From at least XP on they were completely shit. Certainly anti consumer.
But I would easily entertain the idea that they were always crap.
Edit: bill gates pulled code out of the trash to learn from it. Then went on to try and stop others from learning code.
I could go on.
How anyone is defending microsoft is beyond me.
