The gamer group I’m part of recently launched a brand new Starbound server that uses a new, custom-curated modpack of 69 different mods that add an astonishing amount of content to the game. This includes Frackin, Arcana, Enhanced Storage, and a number of others that aim to give everyone lots of new story lines, quests, and adventures.
I wanted to post here to Lemmy and see if anyone would like to join us! Details are below.
Our group has been around since 2021. It’s 18+, and it’s run by folks in their 30’s. It’s a mature (I use that word loosely) community that spans many age brackets, but we’re all equally fun-loving, and united by our love for this amazing game, as well as a few others we explore regularly/seasonally.
Our dedicated server is open to anyone who wants to play with us, permitting they join up with our group (free, no donations). I welcome anyone who would like to play with us to pop into our Discord, and/or check out our website. Here is our information:

Fair enough! I put the cdkey information out there for those that can’t afford the full $15 price tag. It’s been a hard year for a lot of people, so I always try to be sensitive to that. I think I paid $10 back in the beta myself.

We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.
5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW
Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.
No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don’t share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don’t want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

Nah. This is a chucklefish game. Best to just give chucklefish all of the $15 they charge. They’re worth it.

Wargroove was great! I saw a lot of people didn’t like the second one as much though. Do you have any experience in the sequel?
I never got around to playing the sequal. I get like 20 minutes of freetime a week these days.
