This is not entirely accurate. People involved with Graphene have been caught spreading misinformation about /e/ and Calyx many times. The head dev himself is severely paranoid, to the point he makes wild accusations against anyone who doesn’t agree with him.
e os is not less secure than any other Android. Maybe Graphene is better in that regard but that’s literally the point of it. e should be fine for all normal Android usage.

“Better answer” means “enforce antitrust and consumer protection law to punish corporations for attempting to usurp device owners’ property rights.”
They are working on getting another manufacturer up to their security standards. How long that’ll take, who knows, but they are working on it.
