While the overall performance and standing of the Blackwell cards is as expected, the generational performance increase over the GeForce 40 series is low compared to the gains made by the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 over their GeForce 30 series counterparts.
In this benchmark yes. And the overall noise seems to be that the 50-series is a bit of a disappointment (it’s to be expected really as it’s a refinement rather than a whole new architecture like the 60-series will be).
That being said, it does have other improvements in areas like the RT cores so real-world examples will most likely see a bigger gain than 3%.
