Whether it’s price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don’t meet the system requirements, or just haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest releases.
For me, these games are, in order of release: Civilization IV, Dark Souls, Subnautica, and Monster Hunter World
Each of them scratches a different itch, and no matter what mood I’m in, one of these games is likely calling to me.
