You’re really just saving on the cost, not the tax

Unless the office is in Texas where they have no income tax but really high sales tax

I think you misunderstood what the person was saying. They were saying that they saved $1500 plus whatever sales tax would be, not that they saved on income tax.

I was saying including tax wasn’t necessary because they would have paid more in tax this way
