Steam groups are simply a way of finding others to play games with online. The group doesn’t need to be game specific and could involve whatever game the members wanted.

Hol up! I fucking loved Humankind - I dunno why people hate on it. I think if you play it without expectations of playing Civ then it’s a great game in it’s own right. It’s got some neat features and cool gameplay mechanics. It’s also got a nice clean UI.
Civ may have more depth but it’s on it’s 6th iteration and it’s UI is still a confusing mess.

I can’t find it with the Steam clien tfor some reason and can’t be bothered logging in via my browser.
That’s interesting it’s a public group. Just search on “LemmyGaming”.
And if you’re having trouble, others might be too. Thanks for the report! Also I wonder if it takes time to percolate out to all their servers.
I like shooters, but holy fuck I am terrible at them. Truly, the only genres I’m good at are 4X/grand strategy and racing.
I definitely dig strategy games!
I’m really looking forward to Millennia. That’s going to be a nice new entry to the 4X genre after Humankind just straight up fell on its face.

We do have horses! Some horses. Not nearly as many as just about any other state you could think of :)
But mostly we have apples. And baked beans. Didn’t you watch Goodwill Hunting ? :)
