Been lurking Lemmy for a while, I finally decided to post something.
This is a game I’ve been working on with my wife. We’re working towards game play like Rampage X Risk of Rain 2. Game will be coming out in 2025.
Current music is stock, but I have someone working on something more custom.
This originally started as a Kaiju Simulator of sorts, but I decided I could have more “RPG design” fun with classic monsters. I definitely intend to incorporate a lot of different monsters each with different goals and abilities. I’ll be sharing more details on this soon!

Looks fun. If I can give any advice, I would avoid comparisons to other games as that also invites unnecessary criticism.
Also less metal and drums, and more sound effects (like with the kick at the end).
Fleshed out, I would give it a go. There are some public domain creatures you could absorb, like anything Lovecraft.
