So many of the vocal players say “it’s a PVP game, there’s not supposed to be anywhere safe!” But yeah, I just really like the sailing mechanics, the exploration of diving to sunken ships, sailing in storms and hunting megaladons. Getting stomped by some hardcore players while in the middle of an adventure was never fun to me.
It wouldn’t be such a problem if PVP weren’t so insanely janky. It feels like there’s no feedback and most of the skill in combat is rushing the other crew before they know what’s going on and getting used to how laggy the blunderbuss is.
