Looks like Nintendo is getting sued soon for copyright infringement.

WoW membership gives you 65 character slots.

Yes it does. The waste of experience feels terribly wrong on RS.

I stopped playing due to all their stupid additions all the time. Like the sailing/whatever skills they want to add, it’s all bullshit and copium by and for adults wanting new stuff. Their “democratic” voting is an absolute joke; “oh it didn’t pass? let’s just poll it again with slight changes”. That’s a cheap and dirty way of pushing their own agenda.

I did the maths some time ago, a subscription to 1 Runescape character is 20 times more expensive than a WoW character.

Guild Wars 2 is still kicking.

GOG also manages the offline installers. Especially for older games. They are known to deliver badly configured DOSBox games. GOG put us in contact with their technical team for one such game. Their technical team just ghosted us.

The problem is that the fans of Palworld are actually fans of Pokemon and they will defend it like a Pokemon game.

they would have to make the content available offline

Well did they confirm that something you buy isn’t? It’s only a platform and It’s more about the developers that should be doing that.

So it must be “Rent” now? Logically you still purchase a subscription. So this is a very weird solution.

A better solution would be that it has information on what you’re buying. “You can use this even if the game is removed”, “You can play this online and even without starting up Steam”, “Dedicated servers will be released when the game is stopped”, etc etc

Me looking at the thumbnail of this post: “ah electabuzz or something right?”
People in this thread: “it’s totally different!!!”

It’s like governments are trying to get people to listen to them instead of doing their job: listening to what the people want.

Stop making stupid rules and start looking at the causes and work with that. Why do people want 3d printed guns? Well to either protect themselves, do something bad, or for fun because they can. Ok maybe we should look at why the hell do people feel the need to protect themselves instead of letting the police do that? Maybe look at why people do bad things? Hint it’s mostly money, which you are taking away from them. Or try and fight people having “fun”? Well you could always take away the fun with even more rules.

The biggest win of the ones in power was to make the concept of anarchy look like chaos. :)

Look up the Discord Summaries BETA.

They already have “AI” monitoring all chats.

It would be “stupid” of them to not abuse that. (Unmorally stupid that is)

I remember one moment where I knew that I would be without internet for a week, so I bought and downloaded a few singe player games. Only for some of them to require an internet connection because of DRM.

I used my phone for internet so I could pirate them, and you wouldn’t believe it but I could suddenly play them offline. I never bought anything from that publisher again.

Most people didn’t use alt accounts because even a main account takes ages to train.

But nowadays there’s different game modes like ironman, and many people have one as well as a main.

Yes but it’s not fair if it’s per character.

WoW has 65 character slots for $15.00 monthly.
RuneScape has 1 character for $12.00 monthly.

Sailing made me quit the game lol.

Just a bunch of old people wanting new stuff.

Eventually we’ll just get an Oldschool Oldschool Runescape.

They keep adding content just to add content, it’s pretty obvious.

In the OP is stated that you need a connection when you open the game.

But here you say there’s an offline game mode.

Is an internet connection required?
