I wish Expedition 33 was more than 10% off. I get why, but still.

My wishlist has some sub $5USD games so I’ll probably drop 20 or so. I really don’t need the extras though. According to SteamDB, I’ve only played about 41% of my 714 games - and that doesn’t include all the GOG and free Epic/Amazon games I’ve snagged over the years.

Cast to Chill is a pretty great fishing game for the steam deck. I’ve been enjoying it since the NextFest demo.

Heroic is good for handling install/playing Epic games, but it still farms out to a web browser frame for accessing the store itself.

I’m thinking OP has something like the GOG Galaxy in mind (which afaik will never come to Linux and I’m still pissed about it).

Definitely not OP, but I wouldn’t mind remasters of the first game to address the wonky controls. Witcher 2 was fine, but trying to go from Witcher 3 back to Witcher 1 for the first time was not a great experience for me.

If you still have Mini thief I’d give it a go!

It has been over a quarter of a century since SimCity 3000 was released in 1999.

First off, rude.

Secondly, great write up. :)

At this rate, Google will pull so many features the Home Assistant, Whisper/Piper combo will have parity.

The only thing I’m missing from my OSS voice assistant is, “where is my phone”… And I’m fairly certain I could figure out how to get that working if I tried hard enough.

I love mine. It’s great in handheld mode with Moonbeam/Sunshine streaming from my gaming desktop, and it shines in docked mode.

And it’s a very capable Linux desktop too if you want to go that route.

It’s gone now. I should have grabbed a copy when that NoClip documentary dropped a few years ago.

If anyone knows of a mirror, I’d love a link.

Yeah grab that. It should get you started. The full deluxe edition has everything, so if that’s not much more, play the $9 and see if you want to upgrade.

I have an absurd number of hours in the Hitman series, and for $9 that’s a steal.

I don’t know about this. Part of what makes the Hitman series so great is dressing up like a clown and knocking out your target with a fish. I just don’t see the sophisticated James Bond doing the same level of crazy.

Yes! Freelancer is an amazing (albeit slightly dated) game. It takes some effort to get set up, but it does run quite well on Linux.
