It’s hilarious that we live in different worlds. I have no idea what are those Fortnite or Overwatch copies. I have no interest in hero-shooters or battle-royale genres too.

That’s quite normal. There are so many overwhelmingly positive games that don’t interest me, I cannot count. Hades, Fallout New Vegas, Balatro, Slime Rancher, Slay The Spire are some of them. If you like a niche, hold onto that. You don’t have to play or like everything.

Sadly that’s a high possibility, though I hope it won’t come to that or at least there would be a network that allows this.

Maybe we’ll see more donations regarding Linux mobile? The development needs to be even faster now.

True, but that works for books and writers too, not just for games. The story might not be one of the bests, however they managed to make a great game if you consider it in its all. I can say I definitely enjoyed DAO more than Dungeon Siege 1&2, even though I liked them a lot. And I prefer isometric to any other angle any time.

Here is an unrelated anecdote: The first Witcher game was going to be isometric initially but they decided to go with third-person view. Looking at Witcher 3, it was a good call. Though can’t help myself imagining how would it like with isometric view.

Dragon Age Origins was a masterpiece and epitome of BioWare.

As a Battlefield player since 1942, I recently moved to Easy Red 2. I’m sick of always online and this game is a breath of fresh air to me.

So, it’s not just banking, payment apps etc. but all of the apps will eventually go there? Does this mean all of the custom ROMs have to become more device specific like GrapheneOS rather than just the devices using the same peripherals to solve an issue like this? (if it’s solvable by devs)

Apparently older devices that don’t get updates with their stock ROMs will also face problems because of this, even though they can be used as up-to-date with custom ROMs.

Not sure about this. I have a couple friend who own ~5k games on Steam and all they play is either Dota 2 or CS2. It’s been like that for years and I don’t see any improvement on that state. :)
