Logical.

Imagine if all/the majority/plenty enough of players would do that - the prices of the games would fall down, there would be less crap on the market and certainly, there would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less occurrences like the release of Cyberpunk…

Thank you.

It is my firm belief that Bethesda’s games shouldn’t be tried in less than 3-4 months after their release, due to problems, unpatched bugs and the lack of mods that address some weird design choices. I can wait for that long, especially since I’m so tired these days that I forget what’s my name sometimes… 😉

I hope that Starfield is going to be so good, I will be happy to sacrifice a few minutes of rest to play it. 😬

YES.

Can’t wait to play this game, even if it means mere 20 minutes before going to sleep…

From what I gather, Solid needs notifications for file transfers, should you decide to push large chunks of data through it and proceed to different tasks in the meantime.

Thanks, Morgan, but I had trouble finding whether the game is on- or offline, then when I found the button to launch it, conveniently moved to the far right, for absolutely no reason, it began to download some assets and then it asked me to login with either Polygon or Near, of which I own neither, then it turned out that Near is a wallet…

Perhaps slowing down with your futurism would be worth consideration? 😎

Vagrus - The Riven Realms.

Essentially it’s Oregon Trail game in fantasy world. But effectively, it consists of many different genres. There’s caravan management, choice making, strategy, tactical combat, profit making, cRPG… It’s highly complicated, challenging but also very fun.

Try to enter one of these DNSes there.

As usual, I managed to spend some time playing ZELDA:BotW on CEMU, for my little daughter.

She enjoys re-dressing the protagonist, having him gather edible stuff and cooking it Riding on horses, hiding before enemies, checking interesting places, or directing daddy to a black rock that hides Amber or Flint inside seems to be endless source of fun for her.

Recently, she asks to strip Link to his underpants, go to a beach and run around, picking up crabs, rocks, or climbing palm trees.

As for me, every second I can spend watching the grass bent by the virtual wind makes me forget about the reality around me. Which is more than welcome state of mind.

It is. It was the source of fun for generations across whole globe.

It was recently re-released by a Swedish publisher.

The game missed the point entirely. Gigerian landscapes are something to be looked upon and contemplated, instead of being simply a background you “kind of” acknowledge while running away before some monster.

As such, only sandbox and adventure type of games are able to use their haunted beauty.

SCORN is very aesthetically pleasing if you enjoy the eerie, haunting landscapes by Giger or Beksinsky. The game itself is meh at best, but the sights are great.

Ah, I see. Well, the book for SCORN offers quite an interesting insight into the process of creation of this otherwise boring game. The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is also sweet.

Freeway Warrior by Joe Dever. An eternal classic.

I felt strangely happy seeing that small piglet made of a few pixels following me everywhere on the ship. Good times…

Sure. But rather casual one.

I never built a homebase anywhere, instead I preferred to call the ship my home and put as much effort into it as possible. I wasn’t very good at it, but it was fun…

That was strangely interesting to watch.

If I were to list devices under my control both at home and at work, it’d come as massive flex, since I work as corporate sysadmin and that’s only my most recent job. So, rather than that, let me just say that if you happen to find such small environment difficult to control, password-wise, you’re approaching the problem wrong.

Invest in very simple mnemonic solutions (which is just a fancy name for reducing seemingly complex memory tasks to trivialities), learn about patterns and password’s entropy, and do remember, that:

  • Currently (non quantum-computing freely available), @2@JustARegularNerd@2@ is as good password as NDuknn#$83!$%, since they both will take ridiculous amount of time to break raw and an attempt to break it will activate safety procedures in every reasonable online service there is. The former is a trivial thing to remember, since it uses your nickname and @2@ string. Here, you can test both for predicted time to break.
  • Relying on third party software solutions, especially closed-software for security is always risky, no matter what the developer(s) behind it claims, and no matter how professional it looks like. There are leaks and account takeovers all the time, businesses are being sold, or turn out to be run by crooked characters, governments force the “bastions of freedom” to kneel, and they do kneel.

No, never. It’s too unreliable, to easy to hack, lose.

  • use strong password patterns
  • if you begin to forget your passwords, cut down the number of services you’re using
