I got the fact that it’s a SFM YouTube poop after I looked it up. I get why the kids like it and they keep making more. It’s all very cozy and internet.

What I don’t get is corpos trying to put skibidi toilet into things. I get why they’re doing, child money. But like how do you integrate something as abstract and absurd into your own IP? But like in a way that kids will still think it’s cool and not like dumb corpos trying to get on the bandwagon. Or maybe it’s not working and we’re just hearing about the attempts before they fail.

A dovetail is a type of joint that doesn’t require fasteners and only uses the material (usually glue for wood).

This will have impacts, I just don’t think it’ll be as bad as everyone is thinking. Corporate Japan can be equally hands on and hands off. Fromsoft may be allowed to keep on chugging because they make money.

Doesn’t matter what I think. It’ll still make Blizzard buckets of cash.

So could mods qualify? It could be cool for tamriel rebuilt or some other huge community project to win, if they ever release.

I think the grey area is that their is either no single one rights holder, so who’s going to sue you, especially for a game they may not be able to use themselves. Or for defunct companies that hold the rights but are out of business.

Meaning it’s grey in that it’s too much of a hassle or not realistic to sue you for infringement.

I’m also talking out of my ass too, so please correct me.

I’m not particularly active, but I still left for OSRS a long time ago

Showing off is an important part of social MMOs. If anyone can have the really cool looking thing for some cash then what’s the point of grinding? For a hardcore player, what do they have to show off their prestige?

It’s pretty important for an MMO to respect its most active players. Not to mention, what do new players have to look up to? To think, what do I have to get that? If the answer is “oh I just have to fork out some dough”. That’s kinda disappointing

I’ve always wanted a battlefield like 40k experience. To be a little guardsman who gets krumped by the greener faction, or eaten by nids or spikies.

I’ve also been really enjoying games that are controlled with programming (the farmer was replaced has been a fixation recently). So I’d really like to make something like that. Like old school RuneScape, but the only way to play is to program a bot.

I think there is something about fake videogames that really gets the imagination working. It’s like you’re putting together the pieces of a puzzle, but you have to make most of the pieces yourself.

Weight and weight distribution are both important, but a pickup will usually perform better in snow with more weight, like 500 lbs of sand in the bed usually does the trick.

How you apply power to the road surface is also very important. Not enough weight and you will just spin tires. Break too aggressively and you lock up. Pedal to the floor and your tires are spinning. Overcorrect your turns when you start to slide and you’ll never get back straight.

My car is a little older and actually drives better in snow with the traction control off.

I see Jersey schmucks up here with their pavement princess trucks getting stuck in the snow all the time. I see locals in a Corolla or fiesta or other tiny light car make it just fine in deep snow. One of my bosses at the ski mountain used to drive a mini Cooper an hour to work every day.

This is a skill issue.

Yeah, I didn’t particularly enjoy base fallout 4, but I could see a lot of potential there. It felt like “if only I could change these things, then it will be good”.

I’ll be honest, it’s taken me like all day to realize people weren’t talking about cs:go

Boost for reddit is open source, I assume the lemmy version will also be open source. Also I think it’s like $2 to get rid of ads forever.

IMHO open source developers should be paid for their work, if it must be ads then so be it.
