Can we stop making everything a huge interconnected online only world? Like I like the visuals and the atmosphere that these previews have given me (I know a lot of it was stolen, but I still like it) but no way in shit does any of that mystery or intrigue come through if I’ve got 3 drunk or high assholes shooting everything that moves with me.

And so the point arises, what do these companies provide that standardization doesn’t?

I mod for a community that doesn’t align with the interests of a ‘typical’ lemmy user and a lot of our posts get a negative vote or two early in their lifespan. I just assume that the fedi is full of haters lol

Ok regardless of whether or not you should be able to. Why the fuck would you? Wouldn’t it be in your ultimate best interest to recieve negative feedback early? So that it could be addressed?
