Backups are fucked now. TiBu doesn’t seem to work as well as it used to. I use SeedVault now and it only backs up a fraction of my installed apps.

If the day comes when LineageOS (with microG) becomes unusable for me, I will just switch to iPhone. I hate Apple, and I’ve been using custom ROMs since Cyanogen in 2010, but there’s no way I would raw-dog a Google device.

Ah. Sorry, I should have looked it up for you before I commented. I see someone else posted an unofficial version. You’d probably be happy with that, though not being official does kind of remove the advantage over other ROMs.

After years of ROM-ing phones, I recommend using LineageOS. They are going to have the longest support for a given phone. If your phone is available in their list, that means it is well supported with all functionality.

I appreciate your response. I saw that looking around today too. I think it’s only for certain models. Mine doesn’t seem to have an init_boot.img.

I just installed it to test, and Google pay fails. I’m using MicroG though, maybe that’s the problem.

I don’t think I’m great, really. I play on pretty low difficulty and quick speed. Most of the time I rip through a whole game in an hour and a half.
