67wpm 97% accuracy with chrooma keyboard and swipe. Switched to gboard and only got 54/87.

I hate this trend of saying “SLAMMED”, or “HOUNDED”, or “ATTACKED” etc in news articles where the stories are just “a couple of people with a dozen followers between them posted slightly negative tweets about topic xyz”.

My parents were bitching about how Adele was “HAMMERED” online because she said “I am proud to be a woman” or something. Turns out it was just two complete nobodies tweeting about how that’s trans exclusionary or something with 1 heart each.

Yeah “reduced frights” mode was required for me to get through some sections lol. Incredibly well done addition though.

The expansion is very good too if you haven’t played it yet. Luckily my memory isn’t the best so when I managed to replay the game after finally picking up the DLC I got to rediscover many parts of the game.

Why is this even patentable? Games already have this, and quick resume on the Xbox does a very similar thing. It’s not unique enough innovation in my mind to be able to do it at multiple points in time IMO.

I’ve been thinking of something similar too, not direct control of the units though. Would be two factories producing units and warring it out along different lanes.

Unlucky :( I’ve had it on my wishlist but it was too much for me. Glad I’m going to get to play it. I never finished 3 so a full series playthrough might be in order. If you haven’t logged many hours on it you might be able to swing a refund? Though a week is a long time.

Yeah the straightforward quests are sometimes a little disappointing.

I.e. there’s a tiny side quest where you have to get some rich guys wedding ring back from his fiance. You go to the fiance and that say that they saw the rich guy cheating (having a conversation) with the waiter at their favorite restaurant, and that they shouldn’t have to give the ring back.

I went back to the rich guy to find out if this was true, and to insert myself firmly into their drama, but there was no new dialogue from the rich guy. I just had to pick a dialogue option to either take the ring or let the fiance keep it.

It would have been nice to be able to confirm my suspicions that they were just being friendly with the waiter, not cheating, and maybe get the two back together. But no it was go to person A, get quest, speak to person B, return with ring/update that they are keeping it.

There are some great quests, and lots of cool world building, but the RP portion is sometimes a bit lacking compared to (as you mentioned) New Vegas.

I think it’s a reasonable take. Skyrim was the last good game they put out, but I even preferred Oblivion to Skyrim - it captured my imagination more and there was more depth to the role playing - so I think it’s a fair view to be cautious.

I’m hoping it’s great, but with the size and scale of the procedurally generated content I’m kind of expecting it to be mostly soulless cookie cutter shooty shooty content with four times the detail but little actual role playing. It’s Bethesda so we know it’s going to be buggy, that’s nothing new.

Very much hoping to be blown away though.
