Just looked it up and the DNS-320 Version 1.00 is from 2010. I get it on the company side thats old and was a given to be out of date. People who own it should take more mitigations to protect against any unwanted connections. Or use something that doesn’t rely on proprietary firmwares like truenas or unraid.

Thats generally not true in arts, the job just changes. Motion cap requires different technicians and artists post capture. Its just the artist drawing the original movement thats gone. No real net loss

There was quite a lot when it came out, it died out after a while. There is far less for the steamos now based on arch but I think thats because its just on the steamdeck and they haven’t prevented other distros from being ported to the hardware

Too many distros so they can’t fully secure it. And if they did target just one distro the blowback would be intolerable as always. Currently only 800 players through lutris so its just not worth the investment. I get their reasoning it just sucks

I think larian got a lot of attention really quick and didn’t like that kind of spot light. I will be following their next games though. Hopefully they can build on this.

They are unfortunately correct. Its the same sort of argument that got Microsoft. If they don’t allow competition from the start its fine if they do and work to undermine that competition then its by definition anti competitive and monopolistic. Crazy I know.

Haven’t played it since it came out. I still remember it pretty well though. Such a good game.

In my very limited understanding there are too many loses between material to endpoint. The old limit used to be 35% before they made new materials so maybe we can improve the potential in future.

The theoretical limit we can get out of the sun with panels is 40-45% so we are getting pretty close to that.

I picked up mortal kombat / injustice 2 bundle as well as the Batman bundle for so cheap its crazy.
