I’m in the same boat, with an 3700X. Upgrading my Vega 56 will be the first thing and I’m sure that the CPU will still be just fine for that. 1-2 years after the GPU, I’ll probably invest in a new platform.

I’d hate myself for it, but I’d probably purchase a copy. Especially seeing as I never owned or played Undead Nightmare back then on the 360.

Thankfully the present-time “story” is negligible. I hated that about the series up to and including AC 3.

It’s my favourite AC game when it comes to story and atmosphere. Don’t procrastinate it any longer, I say.

Kryonaut is the shit. My Vega 56 has been living under a water block for more than 6 years now and thanks to Kryonaut, the temperatures are exactly the same compared to when I’d just applied it.

Now, where do I have to purchase my copy of Fallout 4 in order to play FO: London?

Maybe you’re just not the type of person for that type of game. I’ve spent lots of hours playing it with m girlfriend. Sometimes it’s fun, often it’s frustrating and I just can’t be motivated to try and improve my efficiency to get that third or fourth star in many of the levels. It’s fine that way.

The PC port unfortunately has horrendous audio quality and has some framerate issues because they coded it specifically for the X360 and PS3. Wish I still had my 360 and that game. The cutscenes were incredible, especially when my character was a fat Asian lady with sideburns, voiced by a British man.

That sorta money doesn’t even buy you a great GPU these days. Maybe a decent one. And then you only need a little more money for a CPU, RAM, Mainboard, storage and a power supply. And if you’re feeling fancy, maybe a case as well.

I enjoy playing Watch Dogs 2 again and again mainly because it’s set in SF and the Bay Area. I just love the vibe it gives me.

If you have a soldering iron and know how to use it, the repair costs less than 5 dollars with parts from China. It’s not hard, I wrecked one board by getting it too hot while desoldering the old sensor. You live and learn.

Can’t look for it on mobile, but I’m sure the Wayback machine has it saved.

Steam gets something to the tune of 30 % as their fee.

Sounds exactly like something Rockstar would write. Kinda predictable, kinda “been there, done that”.

I still don’t get the fuss about OLED. As someone who prefers relatively low brightness and contrast settings on most displays that are not used in the summer sun, I’ve never felt like decent non-OLED panels were lacking for me.

I haven’t played any CoD games since maybe 2010 and thought you were being silly. Holy fucking shit.

Major refresh means what nowadays? 7 instead of 4 percent gains compared to the previous generation?

I’d like to disagree. Even if you disregard all the bugs I had and content/features that was promised and never included, CP 2077 was maybe a good game in 2020. I didn’t think it was great by any means.

They cater to a special subset of “core gamers” and those people have ample funds to blow on their hobby.

I said the same thing years ago. At this point it’s Duke Nukem Forever level vaporware.
