DM me cute anime girls.
I been avoiding AAA like the plague lately. It’s $70 for half the fucking game and you got to consult a spread sheet to make sure you don’t get the wrong one. Your lucky if you put 10 hours in on it total.
I found an indy game today for $15 and binged it for 10 hours. Hoping for a slow week at work to play more.
Being a social game you can’t solo, the community actually makes it impossible for me to progress. I don’t know if I even want to go back if they get everything else perfect. It just feels lonely and unwelcoming.
Knowing how blizzard managed to ruin every other franchise they own, I can see the reaper at WoWs door as soon as the money gets tight again. I was holding out hope Microsoft would have saved them from themselves but seems there happy to milk wow subs till they drive everyone out.
I picked it up for a little bit during Dragonflight. Mechanically, playing your character is the best its been in years as they got rid of a lot of the restrictive and boring spec building. Everything else is an passable meh.
The community is 1 dungeon or raid wipe from more being toxic than a League match making all endgame content not fun. Feels like they started going in the right direction, but I had this hope crushed too many times.
Wow did it for me. OW2 convinced me it’s not coming back.
Played wow again after not touching it for years a while back. They finally get the mechanics good and fun and pushing out content, in game community is dead unless you are already in a guilds discord server. Just saying ‘hi’ is enough to get you kicked out of a group. Raiding out of LFG is impossible unless you have a damn raiding résumé ready to send. No point to play it anymore.
All the parts of a good game are there, but the soul is long dead. Community is only a few steps away from being as toxic as League of Legends.
Got a few hours in last night, quite fun and it very much is pokemon with guns, but at-least rather original for half the designs. So far its base building/exploration while training up legally distinct monsters, doing what everyone would ACTUALLY want to do in a pokemon game that gave you a weapon.
Kerbal Space Program 2. I put an easy 1000 hours in on the original, but the second one still looks pretty raw at this point. May buy it if the science update seems solid enough to keep me hooked.
Bought and played through Cyberpunk on release, it was ok on PC but never replayed it till the patch. Much better after the patch.
Greed.
