It somehow seems to me that such platforms lack “social” in them.
I don’t know whats the pure definition of social, but as soon as a Person gets money to spread something that triggers people without it being his own opinion is… not the same social as a pub.
If a person spreads facts that trigger people, then I want the person not to profit off of it and let it be his actual opinion or desire to write/spread. Which makes it feel social again.
I use my deck more than my powerful laptop. Because I can use my PC instead of my laptop and dock my Steam Deck and work wherever I need, instead of my laptop.
Laptops don’t have their place for gaming anymore for most people now.
But my dream laptop came out named Starlite from Star Labs which is small, has a detachable keyboard, can code and write with an stylus and live up to 14h. Like a chromebook or tablet. So idk. Some people would probably still need a Laptop for Blender and stuff on the go.
Pretty sure that AI can understand a difference between troll and promo with other comments.
It may fill its imagination of what could go into there if its unknown. Pretty sure they see that its edited and a trend.
Ai is building worlds in themselves. They are capable of understanding some things by patterns. Generally. Its more of a muscle memory thing. I don’t think it has consciousness… yet…
While I am using AtlasOS (Windows with bloat stripped off), it still kinda behaves like windows in someway compared to Ameliorated which doesn’t have Microsoft tracking and updates anymore.
I woke up in the night and stared at my PC at around 3:00am and suddenly my PC starts from the suspend. I assume this is a way to update Windows secretely but I never asked for it and it damaged me emotionally because my devices behave in unexpected and unpredictable ways.
I learned to always shutdown.
I had a ying yang work experience with two companies as a pupil.
One used Linux and I had unexpected skills making me solve and create a product/feature. The project manager was kind and a nerd like me. The chef was sweet kind.
The other company used Microsoft products in every corner like a hardcore football fan. The project manager was kinda toxic and it was hard to explain something to him as he pretended to have knowledge and the chef was rarely in a happy mood and often screaming at him. He didn’t knew many things about Microsoft products and browser itself, he just coded and didn’t understood its entirety back knowledge. He expected me to be some master student and graded me bad for skills no pupil had in our class as we just only learned Java in school, I could use all langauages they used and it still wasn’t enough.
Well, in a world where only data exists, its hard to create an ehtical boundary.
We would need a new religion that should be optimal for human survival and well being. A human could survive when we plug them on many cables and let it auto feed but it won’t count as well-being. We could do slavery or killing but all these things won’t create an ethical way of surviving but will create a higher well-being for people who are not hit.
I somehow want to first design an AI that is intelligent about our surroundings and human ethics before continuing with more data. Figuring an own god out to follow. (I won’t do it, but I want someone to create it)
Its kinda a fitting example because China often tends to see something from USA as disinformation. Having two sides telling differen disinformation. This only shows that there exists two sides, but China is just trolling and trying to achieve many things with gaslighting.
I believe that you could create an ultimate ethics AI that tries to identify trust and trolls. But I hope it doesn’t end at “tries” and be easily manipulated.
Seems like it got proper documentation. I guess you just cope.
I more often I see weird projects that only offer binaries that people just recommend me or even the school, I would rather trust Open Source code that has less documentation than a binary only project with little documentation. I don’t even trust Microsoft binaries. Its always malware because its very malicious to send so much telemetry without asking me
Because you hardly can change shortcuts, desktop and have a constantly breaking crostini container that you need to reinstall, I did remove ChromeOS entirely and installed Linux on it natively. Now it takes 10 seconds to open it up and draw something instead of 10 Minutes with constant Pen/Touch crashes that forced me to reboot ChromeOS too. And additionally, I can use Xournal++ that has way more features than the best drawing app with kostly premium (I cracked it, im sorry, but the app was never worth it even with premium)
