While I hope they don’t go TOO serious BL3’s tired ass humor kept me from making it off the first planet. Hopefully I got the wrong impression because as long as they dial the cheese down that could be a day one buy for me.

Yeah me too, between that and the 5$ sale for the deluxe version I think I’m going to buy it just for the heck of it.

Damn I forgot about that one. I think I claimed a few things from prime gaming but never got passed the tutorial missions. Just didn’t feel good.

I didn’t see that one blowing up the charts or anything but it still seemed decent. Maybe being just decent was the problem though.

Oh yeah I get that people love it and I think that’s great. It just hasn’t clicked for me even though I would like it to. I’ve got a nephew that stays with me and I’ve been trying pull him away from games like COD to get him to branch out and chill out when it comes to a hobby that I feel should be for fun. NMS seems like a great game for us to goof around in with low stakes and plenty of projects but again, it just hasn’t become fun for me.

I keep trying to get into it but it hasn’t clicked. I love the idea of free roaming in space but I find the gathering/farming aspects boring. I need to some how smash that game with Everspace 2, I feel like a game in between those could be a lot of fun.

I straight up did not like the first controller. Tried to push my cousin into taking it and he snuck it back in my car because he didn’t want it 😆 That being said, I grabbed a steam deck a while ago and that thing rules. I’d be very excited to check out a V2 controller with everything they’ve learned.

I’m ashamed that the sprites for these characters will stop me from scrolling 100% of the time despite not liking the game at all 😆

I’ve got the story all caught up. I had dropped out shortly after the new war was released and this time I decided that I wanted to actually understand the game (I usually follow guides because of how many game modes, resources and modding can be done) so I tackled all of the campaign missions back to back and then got my standing at level 4 to max with everyone and that was a DRAG. But I’m glad I did it because I’ve got tons of cool gear to mess with and I’ve been having fun swapping weapons and frames to see which abilities are fun with which gun or melee types. I don’t normally look into meta guides and prefer to just grab a weapon and see what feels fun but it took a while for me to get that way with WF because there are just so many mechanics to get overwhelmed by.

I’ve been addicted to WarFrame for months and before that it was Wayfinder but that was pre 1.0 so I’d like to go back into that one when I can peel myself away from WF

I think having a wife actually is part of it for me. I’m one of those introverted guys and burn most of that social battery at my full time job. I haven’t been able to ‘feel’ relationship ties with in-game characters for years. Ive given it thought before and landed on the fact that those feelings are reserved for my wife and close friends. That along with my taste pivoting from first to third person games just made CyberPunk a bad purchase. I don’t blame the game though, CDPR seems to have done an amazing job and it looks great now.

The initial play through was too boring for me. There’s probably still more tutorials and mechanics I haven’t got to yet but it got to be a slog with me feeling the same, too much story (that I just wasn’t feeling) and not enough action for it be fun.

Monster Hunter Rise and Ghost of Tsushima for me! Other than that, there are plenty that I enjoy but most of the wants I full on LOVE are pre-2020 like TitanFall 2, Hyrule Warriors, WarFrame etc. I do live GranBlue Fantasy are link as well but I don’t think that’ll make too many people’s lists, which is a shame because it’s an absolute masterpiece in my eyes. It plays like a 360 era game requiring no online connection, sporting a gorgeous art style and so many campaign moments that made me straight up shout “damn that was awesome”

I still have the physical copy of this lol. Sold my vita but I do still have my pstv

Dang I forgot about that one. I played a few rounds when it was new but my COD days are behind me. It wasnt great or terrible

My hopes would be misplaced too if Epic wrote me one of that fata$$ checks. It’s just business, they took a shot and made a few bucks 🤷🏽
