I 100% agree, and wish they’d invest some more resources into making the dialogue passable. I could be wrong, but it seems to have only gotten worse with each new game. Hopefully (though I’m not holding my breath) FH6 can break that trend…

I’m not saying the dialogue is good, but I don’t think sensitivity filters or whatever are the issue, it’s just bad writing, and it doesn’t seem to be a priority to spend time creating a compelling story.

I didn’t love it, but I did get super into and really good at the piano tiles game.

You make a good point in the second half of your comment, but I’m not sure why you had to call me an idiot first. I don’t watch short form content where AI is apparently rampant, and I haven’t ever intentionally seeked it out elsewhere. As far as people being fried by AI goes, I’ve gotta be near the lower end of the spectrum.

My take isn’t even gung-ho on the feature, and I only commented on a single screenshot.

I’m not sure I’d go as far as saying it’s a good use of AI. Also, if you’d read the article (or even just the comments) you’d know that this required 2 5090s. Your 4090 is not going to cut it.

That’s a really good point. I’m not even sure what the game is, I had assumed it was something old based on the before image, which would be a sensical use case for this imo.

Reading through the comments, this is definitely an unpopular opinion, but while I don’t love it, it does look more “realistic” to me, even though it definitely needs to look more like the source material.

It is kinda nuts that Epic isn’t as good as Steam still. More competition is more gooder, but Epic isn’t really competing. Of course, I’d also rather the competition not be such a terrible company. I’d love to see more from GOG, I do remember reading that GOG might be coming to Linux natively, which would be awesome.

They can be helpful when you enjoy playing a game but run out of stuff to do. I hunt for them in Mini Motorways, Forza Horizon, and a few other games. Most games I ignore them completely though.

I probably also won’t pay full price, as I’ve already waited this long anyways, but I’ve barely seen anything about this game, let alone spoilers. Maybe you’re just in different circles than me, or browse algorithms more. It was nearly the same with the first game, I just didn’t see or hear much about the story at all.

A Way Out is still my favorite, probably just prefer more grounded games.

Man I just want slightly tweaked BeamNG physics in all other games that involve driving. BeamNG in GTA. BeamNG in Forza. BeamNG in Far Cry, BeamNG in, hell, Tokyo Extreme Racer - ok maybe not that one.

Often it could be compatible, but the developers just don’t bother. The anit-cheat that GTAO implemented works on Linux in other games, but not GTA, because they can’t be bothered to give a fuck.

Hearing that is so refreshing. Microsoft/Google would never put something like that on their website because you are the product.

Exactly, but I don’t see anything keeping them from selling the Frame at a loss or tight margin. What else are you going to use that with but Steam games?

Even the Steam Controller is useless without Steam Input, but I’d argue it won’t necessarily sell more games. Maybe they could include it with the Steam Machine for “free” to bump the price of the machine up enough to not make sense for a company, but still sell it at a tight margin to sell more games.

I miss street pass so hard. I loved playing those little mini games.

I’d second the fact that it’s really difficult to do it, and that you genuinely need to enjoy the process. More likely than not, you won’t “make it” and you’ll just be doing it as a hobby. Though, more than anything, you just need to do it. You might not know what to say today, tomorrow, or next month, but eventually you’ll find a rhythm and know what works for you. There’s no way to find that rhythm if you aren’t making anything.

My source for this is the fact that I’ve been doing YouTube for nearly 2 years now, creating weekly videos. I think they’ve been of pretty good quality for about 14 or so months now. I have just over 500 subs which, while I’m super proud of and thankful for that, isn’t even enough to enable ads on my channel. I also specifically chose a niche that’s a tad easier to stand out in, as the market for gaming videos is so so so saturated and difficult to stand out in, as the barrier for entry is so low.

I don’t mean to discourage, and of course wish you the best of luck, but I do want to share a realistic view on it based on my experiences being a small potato YouTube creator.

He wasn’t just critical of it, he spread misinformation about it. It was wild to watch someone be so completely and utterly wrong, then double and triple and quadruple down on it.

Do you have a link? I’ll start looking, will edit this comment if I find it.

Edit: Link to Steam total spend: https://help.steampowered.com/en/accountdata/AccountSpend

Edit: This seems to be how to do it for Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/hz/privacy-central/data-requests/preview.html - My data hasn’t come through yet so I don’t know how difficult it is to get the sum of all orders/refunds.

Not really an RPG, more of a action adventure, but Far Cry 3 will probably run well enough. I played it on a much worse laptop when I was in highschool.

Me? None. I just play for fun, I’d lose bad.

If there was going to be a game I’d show up for it’d be Forza Horizon, I’ve got the most hours in that and kinda do ok when I occasionally play online against randoms. Haven’t been playing much recently though, so the former statement probably still applies.

I have beat the game. I remember the gist of the solution, but I have no idea how to pull it off any more. I can’t wait to play it again, possibly with the VR mod.

Yeah, those two are debatable at best, but the other points sure make a lot of sense, and definitely have value. I say this as a SteamDeck user who never even considered the Ally for myself.

I loved this game.

Wear headphones, the sound design is legendary, really made me feel like I had some shit going on in my head.

This is a weird mentality. Competition in the space is good, even if the current “default” thing is really good.

The GTAOnline situation is super wack, but R* hasn’t stopped delivering great single player campaigns, well technically only one - RDR2 - since introducing shark cards, and it is still completely separate from RDROnline and the paid currency. I won’t pre-order GTAVI still, even once it comes to PC, but I’m going to pick it up if the reviews are halfway decent.

Sorry, I wouldn’t pre-order even if it was released on PC at launch, I didn’t make that clear.

Also, as if anyone should be worried about getting a copy when digital distrubition exists.

GTAOnline has suffered from feature pile-on. I think there’s an official software development term for it, but I can’t remember it. It’s fun, aside from the astronomical grind and push for shark cards (but there are ways around that wink wink) Even considering that, getting into it as a new player is wild.

I won’t be pre-ordering (because they likely won’t be releasing on PC at launch, ugh), but I have high hopes. There hasn’t been a R* game without a killer story. I kinda expected RDR2’s story to be an afterthought to the online, as that was their first game since GTAOnline, however it was still an awesome single player campaign.

My second question was “Is it larger than a microwave” and it gave it to me. Sorta BS tbh. Idk if I’d have ever gotten it if it’d answered that question as “no” like it should’ve.

Edit: They updated it to make it more lenient. Imo too lenient.

I asked if it was larger than a microwave on my second question and it gave it to me…

Edit: There was an update to make it more lenient. Too lenient imo.

I asked

“Is it living” 👎

“Is it larger than a microwave?” Wow you got it!

I would consider the answer to that question a no, not a “You solved it!” A microwave is not larger than a microwave.

Edit: They updated the game to make it more lenient after people guessing microwave over didn’t get it. It’s too lenient now though, in my opinion.

I played Moss and loved it. Moss II is sitting in my library waiting for my attention. I need to get around to it.
