Night media is a talent agency that was associated with Mr. Beast (you know, during his most popular years) and is still associated with Asmongold (you know, propaganda pointed at young men).

Hasan Piker is the son of a billionaire from Turkey. While I don’t know the specifics of how much money he’s received from him, if any, that doesn’t really matter. The man is a multi millionaire who has made his money on a platform that is absolutely riddled with propaganda mouthpieces. Many people do not see an issue with this, I do.

He also really loves to claim he’s a socialist, yet is a multi millionaire (after buying him and his family a 2.7 million dollar home in L.A.). Too many things don’t add up for me, so I stopped watching him.

All that being said, idk what’s in his heart of hearts. He might not be a bad guy, I might be assuming the worst. Make of it what you will.

Not the guy. I’ve watched a decent bit of Hasan and if you only listen to what he says, not examine what he does or who he does it for, then he probably seems like a champion for leftist causes.

That being said, he works for Night Media and definitely does not put his money where his mouth is. I personally dislike the hypocrisy.

Devil May Cry comes to mind, as well. If I’m not mistaken that game was entirely developed with Western audiences as the target demographic.

Edit: The game is gorgeous for me, I’m not surprised older builds are struggling. I didn’t mean to be a dick about it.

But NBA Jam is a game, not a bundle of perverse incentives disguised as a game.

Yeah, it’s easier to make decisions when you don’t have to think about them anymore.

I’m sorry but I genuinely don’t care what game journalists think. Their opinions are about as valuable as mud, and at least I can grow plants from mud.

Every single discussion I see searching up on Google ‘is Outer Worlds good’ are sponsored reviews from people who got the game for free, or B average reviews from people who got the game for dirt cheap. When I find what real people have to say about Outer Worlds, it’s almost unanimous that it was bad.

No, there wasn’t - Skyrim is the video game equivalent of makeup on an otherwise uninteresting individual. Might seem pretty at first, but the lack of depth or meaning dulls any beauty.

Yeah that doesn’t track at all with what I remember people saying, and what I remember thinking myself.

I distinctly remember people citing the repetitive gameplay, short campaign, shallow choices, etc. I’m not sure why it was ever a GOTY contender, but there simply never was any way it would ever beat a game like Sekiro. It’s likely that “new Obsidian RPG” drove any hype surrounding the game.

Edit: Disco Elysium came out in 2019, that fact alone tells you that Outer Worlds being a contender was uhh… if not fraudulent, then certainly questionable.

I remember Dark Athena being fun, but know for a fact Escape from Butcher Bay was fun.

Just play Ghosts of Sushi Mama - I can almost guarantee it’s a better AC game.

A friend of mine was banned for the crime of having been invaded by a hacker. I guess I kind of get it, can’t really be made at them for not wanting to give everyone a headstart.

Hmm, is this typical for other fromsoft titles - as far as playtests go? Regarding the lack of PC testers.

Hitler My Friend is a 99 cent game on Steam with an 8/10 positive rating.

A 3D shooter that will change your ideas about alternative history! In this game you will climb into the boots of the unforeseen Adolf Hitler.

There’s more, but I’m not sifting through more dog shit. This is a good thing.

Crazy how I just detailed this exact thing in a different comment and got downvoted for it.

5 million gold costs about 220 bucks right now. If I’m not mistaken that was the price of the AH mount back in BFA, no?

90 bucks for this mount is actually at a massive bargain, we’re talking 40% of what it’s actually worth. Like I get it, you think it’s scummy but… idk, if I still played WoW I would probably buy it - and I doubt I would regret it. That being said, I do not play anymore and will not come back for the mount lol.

Like, technically speaking they could charge double what they’re asking and it would still be cheaper than the BFA AH mount.

Edit: Mad because bad at math.

All I have to say is that I sincerely doubt that From Software and MiHoYo were looking at H:ZD when they made their very successful games. That’s my only point, you are allowed to have your opinions about H:ZD - I’m not saying that you’re wrong.

BotW completely changed the open world landscape. Yes it was a bad Zelda game, it was by no means a mediocre game. That first experience is fucking magical, and has been recreated to great effect in Elden Ring and Genshin Impact (I shouldn’t need to point out how popular both of those games are).

You can dislike that it was a bad Zelda game. Calling it mediocre is just patently false. Granted, yes - I’ve called the game ‘Horizon: Zero Awards’ because it definitely should have won at least something. However, it was not more impactful than BotW.

No, I’m not the one struggling to remember what I’ve said. That’s you lil’ guy, in case you were confused - I’d imagine you are.

Yes because money is the only thing that matters in life, so what if my kids get psychic damage from having guns go off near them? They probably won’t die. Gotta get into college so I can retire!

You kinda dumb dog, like the people responding to you are also dumb but you’re particularly dumb.

Ah, I see - the moment the words leave your flappy flesh bits you forget them. I get it, it’s hard being a goldfish. I’ll give you a pass this time.

Just beat the game.

God damn it’s good. The only way I knew about it was because I was checking Steam new releases. Please god understand that this would have sold with better advertising.

Bungie splits from Activision.

Releases Shadowkeep.

Shadowkeep: is awful.

Releases Beyond Light.

Marginally better with graphical improvements, but sunsetting content you paid for - so still pretty bad.

Releases Witch Queen.

Witch Queen is much better than both Shadowkeep and Beyond Light. Great ground floor, seemingly a starting point after the Activision split debacle.

Lightfall

Not only did Lightfall happen, we learned that most of the good content in Lightfall was purposefully removed from Witch Queen because they didn’t want to ‘overdeliver’.

Have not played Final Shape, don’t know anything about it - mainly because I had enough of the game after the above. Bungie has been a terrible company for years. Do their devs deserve death threats for it? Absolutely not. Does the company deserve to crash and burn? Abso-fucking-lutely.

No I just don’t read what you’re saying, mainly because I’ve got better things to do with my time than to read a nobody bloviate about something they don’t understand. Your experience doesn’t matter, do you know why?

I’ve refuted your claim that it’s somehow all the publishers fault. You, for some reason, think that Bungie releasing a terrible expansion the first time they’re free from a publisher somehow doesn’t obliterate your argument.

You’re absolutely sealioning btw, you can keep the corpo speak to yourself. I’m not reading it, because it’s just a waste of my time. There are plenty of devs to defend, Bungie is not one of them.

You… please name the logical fallacy I’ve employed.

I’ll wait.

Invasions aren’t toxic. You’re brute forcing a game balanced around solo play by abusing action economy and boss aggro. You can, at any time, start a boss and boot someone. Not to mention the overwhelming advantage you have over the invader should you choose to fight them.

It could, literally, not be more in your control.

you’re obviously someone who is completely and willfully ignorant to what goes into game development

Icing on the cake? Shadowkeep is the first expansion dropped by Bungie for d2 without Activision. It is also widely acknowledged as the worst expansion. Congratulations, you’ve written an essay and proven you just shouldn’t be weighing in on this. At all.

The more words you use in your next essay won’t help, you don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s almost like you got an AI to spit this out with how much cherrypicking you do. What’s the term for a sealion that weighs in on something they know nothing about?

Bungie shits in your mouth, consistently, over the course of D1’s life cycle.

“No it’s not Bungie, it’s Activision!”

Bungie splits from Activision in D2

Proceeds to release Shadowkeep

Crickets

Fast forward to Lightfall.

“Noooo, it’s Sony! Sony is at fault!”

God damn, the excuses Destiny players make for what is a shit company will never cease to amuse me. Idk what Bungie’s collective cum tastes like but it must be fucking ambrosia considering the lengths the community goes to defend them. That corpo-speak in the TWABs is puttin’ in work!

Testing? You expect this person to know what testing is?

That’s an extra step that will realistically lead to more work! That’s outrageous, can’t have that. Just won’t do.
