Doesn’t need to tank performance. Instead of turning on the lighting elsewhere, they could turn it off in character creation so you can see what it’ll actually look like.

I’m hoping for an option to pw protect certain notes. Currently my method is: write the note, take a screenshot, put screenshot into locked folder, delete the note. Would be nice if I could avoid all that.

Guess I’ll have to enjoy what’s been made thus far, and accept that there likely won’t be anything good made in the future.

Are they serious with this? This is a joke right? No way someone looks at that and say “yep, this looks awesome for 2023”. I’ll pay $10 for this, only because I’m a huge lotr fan, but $10 is my upper limit for what I just saw.

Best thing to do, is not buy the game at all. Whales don’t like spending money in empty games, they have no one to show off to. Simply avoiding the mtx isn’t good enough.

MTX is here to stay, the numbers speak for themselves. It’s unfortunate, but unless people stop buying them (they won’t) they aren’t going anywhere.

I don’t think it suggests that at all. I think people just saw their options, and went for the cheaper one. If there was no cheaper option, they would’ve just bought the X.

Lol seriously? I was actually planning to get this but the nore I hear about it, the more I think I’ll wait a few years for the updated version to release. Nintendo doesn’t make very many good games nowadays anyway.

Absolutely, I’m not trying to shit on linux users, I understand the appeal. I just don’t think this news is as big as it’s purporting to be.

Because there isn’t really much positive. This really won’t change much. I get that linux gamers have been left out for a long time, and want more inclusion, but it’s just not going to happen. As for the steam deck, I doubt most people using it even realize it’s linux.

How is 2% exciting? This tells me linux gaming will never really be a thing, as 98% of gamers are elsewhere. Also, arent the majority of that 2% due to the steam deck?

They should really just move on. This game is a failure, and there’s no way to save it.
