A lot of my friends weren’t into the shift from Fallout 3’s third person open world to the original game’s isometric perspective; Understandable, but that’s what I grew up on. I enjoy revisiting 1 & 2 every other year or so. Also, Sid Meiers Pirates hadn’t adapted well to modern systems, but has a clean gameplay loop that I enjoy revisiting.
Agreed. The whole reason I used to pirate was because I was gifted a game I really wanted for Christmas, and it wouldn’t run. I had the specs required, but the graphics card had a known problem with the game that the devs decided wasn’t popular enough to deem fixing.
These days my main platform is fantastic with refunds if something doesn’t work, so I’ve little need to pirate.
The Outer Worlds. Would have been the last game to date that I’d had pre-ordered, but they went Epic exclusive, so I decided to be patient and wait for the Steam release. Year goes by and it releases for Steam, but at original launch price. Decide I’m not willing to pay full price for a game I had to wait extra for.
Now it’s turned into a game of seeing it go on sale and remarking, “Come on guys, you can do better than that.”
Yeah, how about you get better at canceling your own shows before talking ill of anything else.
