I think you can actually. If you’ve already completed the game there’s a mod that allows you to start a new game plus. You keep all your stats points and gear, and I think you can have it start as if the story is complete so you can just explore the world again and do all the side stuff. I’m not 100% sure but there are loads of YT vids that cover it. Just look for cyberpunk new game plus mod.
I get why you might be thinking this. If you’re on PC, I suggest modding the game. Im playing though my 2nd play through. Played through to PL and then only recently decided to play with modding and it’s a game changer. Now playing the PL part of the game and already thinking about a 3rd play through. The mods I have make it feel like a remaster. If you want I’ll list out the key mods (just let me know).
This is such BS. They claim there are challenges with testing whether or not Denuvo causes performance issues but aren’t there 100s of games with Denuvo that have been cracked that clearly perform better than the legitimate versions? They talk about either the devs doing it or they themselves doing it but people don’t want to publish the results. If the results are that there is no performance hit, then surely that’s something everyone would want to show. It obviously does hit performance which is why they won’t publish it.
They also say Denuvo helps developers save up to 20% of revenue that they would not have otherwise received due to piracy. How do they even know that? You can’t compare two different games and you can’t release the same game twice for people to buy twice. The fact that they also say “up to” suggests this is also bollocks!
The comments regarding this are really disappointing. People hate Ubisoft so much, for fucking customers over, that they are glad that customers are being fucked. What is wrong with you lot? People look forward to things, they side with optimism over pessimism, but fuck them right! What a bunch of angry and frustrated individuals you seem to be.
I played rdr2 first and later played rdr1. Playing 1 made me want to play 2 again, which I did and loved it even more the 2nd time rpund.
I personally don’t think playing them out of order ruins anything story wise. It’s like watching or playing a sequel as opposed to a prequel if you play 2 first.
But…whilst rdr1 still looks and plays great, playing 2 first may take some of that away, as you’ll be used to rdr2 which is just about as perfect a video game one can be. I’d therefore recommend 1 then 2.
The last of us 1 and then 2. There are video games and then there’s TLoU p1&2. If you can, play 1 on pc. The controls aren’t great in 1 (IMHO) but kb&m made that so much better. P2 they made the controls much better. It’s a more fun game to play in my experience with less frustrating sections, and whilst people prefer 1 or flat out don’t like 2, I think the drivers for that aren’t to do with the story or game not being good, in fact, I would say p2 is the best story driven game I’ve ever played (better than rdr2 which I loved and is another one you should consider, 1 and 2 actually). People will just not like 1 specific thing or another (there are lots of small things in the game that certain people will have issue with, you’ll understand when you play it) and then because of that 1 thing say the whole thing is bad. People that complain are often louder than those who praise.
I bought this to play on steam deck (played and completed it on console years ago). Unfortunately it crashes at the end of the first level when you jump down the chute. Gave up trying to find a solution and it being only a couple of £, I wrote it off. Seems like this might be the reason. Makes me want to try and get my £2 back.
I played 4 hours last night and I really am enjoying the game. There are a few issues but I think they things that could be improved via patches. For the most part it’s QOL things. I fixed the no ultra wide support with a hex editor but by far my biggest gripe is movement speeds. Walking is way too slow. Jogging is a little slow but not available if using kb&m. Run and sprint feel OK (sprint is maybe too fast). Using kb&m feels really bad. You go from very slow walking to a full run which ruins the immersion for me. Using controller is better but I prefer kb&m for combat. Even with controller though, the difference between walk, jog, run and sprint feels weird as they don’t blend together. I would switch between kb&m and controller but there’s not a separate setting for inverting Y for controller vs. Kb&m, which for me is a problem as I invert y on controller so switching between the two requires a change of that setting as well. For now I’m sticking with kb&m and just putting up with the fact that I feel like I’m running around like a crazy person all the time. Oh, and the fact that walk is slower for your character than it is for NPC’s is so annoying. Allowing that to happen should exclude you being able to make video games! Whoever is responsible for that needs to do better.
Yeah I’ve set this up already. I wouldn’t chose to play it this way over an install but it’s great for a quick play of something random
