Somebody replied to other comment, but it seems like hdmi allows audio to be sent back, like, if you wanted your screen to send audio to the computer… which would be weird in most PC scenarios, but not so much on TVs.
If you allow me to object, I wonder if this is the same. Instances are community managed, not a company praviding a service. I’d argue it would be more like CVS banning you, vs a group of people not inviting you to a party.
CVS could ban you if they have a reason, but I don’t think they could just make a decision out of their ass.
