I’ve used a patched version of Dexcom before to get around the os version check and screenshot block but I never actually used xdrip+. Why do you like it so much and where do I get more info?

I hate this “feature” of the Dexcom GCM app. They seem to believe that HIPPA law prevents me from sharing my glucose readings with anyone I choose to.

To send readings to people, I can’t screenshot the app but I can screenshot the notification which contains the same info 🤷🏼

I tried that one too. I couldn’t stick with it. I don’t remember why now.

Same here. I looked for alternatives but nothing worked as well.

I just blocked it’s Internet access

I’m the only Android user in my family. We use Signal for messaging and video calls. Anything Google implements is not likely to be cross platform anyway.

A few years ago I felt the same way. I installed the Should I Answer? app and even limited calls to people in my contacts to get it under control.

I’m on a Pixel too. I’m in the USA and, at some point, Google got their act together on screening calls here. Most spam is rejected outright and the remaining ones get screened by the phone itself. I haven’t had spam call in a couple of years now! And I don’t have to use Should I Answer? anymore.

Thank you for your effort, but I honestly already knew all this. What I want to know is why one couldn’t simply report 60hz to fingerprinters while, in reality, maintaining the highest possible rate in the browser.

I don’t want to turn off resist fingerprinting but that refresh rate ruins the browser for me.

I would use mull if they only increased that refresh rate. But as it is now, I use Firefox on mobile in the strictest tracking protection mode and UBO.

I love librewolf too but there is no mobile version. And don’t say mull because that refresh rate makes it unusable.

I use Firefox and DDG on my Pixel but I do keep a small Google option for those (usually location based} particular searches

Other launchers are better anyway. But it does become another big step for those that never leave defaults.

Browser choice. Actually browser ENGINE choice. And the ability to set my own default apps, including the launcher.

F-droid. Side loading.

I used it, had problems, dropped it. Using Connect now. Wefwef is good if you like PWAs.

Over the last 15 years or so I’ve moved from 1Password to LastPass to Bitwarden. I don’t know how anyone manages without them.

Android direct share
Until recently, when I took a screenshot with my #pixel it showed a direct share target which was usually the most recent person I shared to. Now, it's got no one. How do I fix that? #Android
