Where do you even find asset flip games? I haven’t seen any in 5+ years and that period only existed because malicious people found the angle, which valve plugged.

Steam dominates the market because all my friends are there and we all have a great experience. Sales on PC games are better than physical console games ever get. Customer support and in general user experience has been phenomenal.

You can look past weaknesses that were addressed and solved my guy. Greedy assholes will always try to game the system and valve plugs those quick.

A lot of studios develop with the intention of being absorbed and/or bought out. The plan is usually to develop some niche incredible tech that’s only around PoC quality and then be acquired.

They didn’t get crushed by the big man here. That’s simply how the reality of the market goes.

I recommend giving it another try if your only experience was the game on release. It really received a labour of love and has very fun gameplay options. I went for a throwing knife slow mo grenade build and had a blast throughout the whole playthrough

You could try dark souls 3 for the closest to eldenring experience while being 60fps. Then go onto eldenring or dark souls remastered. Dark souls 2 is a black sheep that plays and feels different to the rest and has all around wild design choices.

Fallen order has this magnetic attraction between you and the enemy when swinging that really urked me. Felt likes souls on rails. Beautiful game though and nice levels
