As a liberal that doesn’t own or care to own guns I’m quite fine with gun safety being taught in schools (i.e. by licensed professionals, not a random teacher). Guns are an unavoidable aspect of our society for now and I’d feel better if my kids knew about the seriousness of handling a gun and how they’re not toys.
Regarding the topic at hand with YouTube I disagree with a complete ban of gun videos but all videos should come with clear disclaimers.
Okay, finally ran into a conflict that I noticed. Wonder how many passwords I’ve lost throughout the years. I got back the account that was swallowed but I’d much prefer this didn’t happen in the first place. Other than making it a habit to sync (with syncthing) before editing a database it doesn’t seem like there’s a built-in solution for this. The problem is that keypass always performs a two-way sync (sync two files, modify two files). Guess I’ll see how hard it would be to make a one-way sync plugin or if some other variant does one-way.
I’ve had a lot of conflicts over the years of doing this but as you say keepass is good at merging. You’d only run into trouble if you change the file in two locations before syncing (file conflict) AND the time was way off on one of them (wrong change applied) AND you have no way of resetting your password.
Focusing on the gameplay really misses the point. It was practically an interactive story, but they wanted it to be a shooter so you’d feel more responsible for the outcome rather than just watching things unfold. And while the “choices” in game made little difference, that pretty much reinforced the message that some situations are basically fukt and “pushing forward” doesn’t make it any better.
I’ve been a fan of the Moto G series for a while. I think they’re solid phones but maybe a year or two behind in features compared to their peers. The biggest gripe of mine is that their midrange phones don’t, or didn’t used to, have NFC capabilities. I dearly miss the Moto Actions though. Chopping to turn on the flashlight is amazing!
I don’t know if he’s “always” been on the right politically but he’s definitely been way more outspoken since he acquired Twitter. And it’s not just a matter of “we hate him because he’s conservative”. No, we hate him because, like any modern conservative, he openly denigrates trans people, blames Fauci for the pandemic, and he continually overlooks or forgives users for racist and hateful remarks.
Before I left Twitter I also saw a few examples of the “fact checking” system calling out tweets from liberals (for very minor distinctions) and not adding disclaimers to easily debunked claims like hiring 87000 IRS agents.
I’ve been pretty happy with Moonlight/Sunshine. Streaming via Steam was my go-to method for a while but I kept having too many little issues, from lagging to bad video corruption, that just made it a hassle.
