Yea once w10 reaches eol I’m gone. If my games decide to fix linux by then, then all is well. If not, oh well.

To be honest when october comes and w10 is at eol I’ll probably just move to linux and stop playing those games altogether

Unfortunately all the games I play require anti cheat and they all have dont support linux because of that

I stopped using twitter way longer than that, tbh I’m basically gone from most social media

Twitter used to be more interesting and I talked with a lot of people. Nowadays it’s pretty devoid

Caches in this case is all about data lookup. Consistently used data/instructions will be stored on the cache and being able to read from it means not needing to read from slower storage (in this case, it would be your ram). The x3d has a larger cache, letting your cpu store more and thus do quicker lookups, but in most games, this only nets you marginal benefits. Modern cpus are not the bottleneck for games anymore.

Nah like unless your game is a cpu intensive game (older games come into mind) any recent cpu will do just fine. Hell even a 5600 still chugs for 99% of all games

Cache is just a slight optimization and your gpu matters a lot more for gaming. The only other benefit is a bit better power draw, which is like nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Honestly it’s both valve’s fault and the legal system. They’ve tried to combat these sites with the trade window system back in like 2015 2016 I think, but their csgo and tf2 trading economy struggles when you have to wait a week to do stuff.

It also doesn’t help when a lot of these sites dodge being legally a casino, and get away with it.

10 years ago was like back when hallowed armor was endgame and mech bosses were the last bit?

There’s so much more content now that honestly makes the entire progression completely different

Theres also a wealth of mods now that acts functionally as a whole new game as well (calamity being the biggest one)

There’s no such thing as the superior platform. The pc vs console war is long dead

If I enjoy a game, it doesn’t matter whether its on pc, my phone, or some console. I’ve had a blast with the ds and the wii (still my favorite consoles to date), Ive also had a lot of fun on pc.
