Yeah. I did shopped around when i changed to android. The sole reason is moving away from google, apple and the like. So i stopped using apple watch.
The only thing that holding me back of buying smartwatch is my data. I heard that i can use garmin without their apps and lo and behold, they started gatekeeping features behind subs last i heard, so that is out of the window. You know how that goes.
My only saviour is gadgetbridge for privacy respecting smartwatches. Havent taken a bullet to buy any compatible smartwatch yet. My wrist is dainty so my options is totally limited since most smartwatches is 40mm++.
Thank you for the suggestions though
I had an apple watch before. It’s an SE iirc. It get annoying for me at least to charge it at least a day. Plus, it cranked up my unhealthy obsession to fill those rings.
It was fun seeing those number but deep in my mind i know i dont really care much. Stopped using it and havent missed it much. Mind you, Im a casual runner and weightlifter. I go to gym, sweat it out and go home. That’s about it.
Although, i missed listening to music with it. No need to bring my phone.
I think it just suck at multitasking due to shit cpu. I noticed the moment i tabbed out from a video player mid playing it starts to lag.
Yeah. I disabled most of the thing and it still lag. I had to reduce animation and transparency. Change the launcher too. Its better than stock but it really gets on my nerves knowing modern devices can still get this lag out of the box.

Of course you have a samsung device. No surprise there. So by that logic, if i buy a low tier device i should just accept whatever shit samsung install on my device? Having a bad user experience doesnt matter because fuck me right? Good to know.
Oh. It is an ad though. Just by having an app pre installed inside my device. Guess what? The app can send notification and that notification is what? Ads.
What if the pre installed app is netflix, hulu and bunch of useless things i do not use? Its not a bloatware for you but for me it is. Yes, i can disabled but not all of them. Some just outright disable the disable button. Bunch of services running in the background. Samsung is notorious for this kind of behaviour.
I received a budget galaxy tab from a lucky draw. Shit is disgusting with how many useless stuff in there. Planned to give it to my mother but i cant stomach how laggy it is with android 13. It is not a good experience at all. I had to use adb to remove all of them.
What a throwback. How long does the battery last?
