15M copies in a month puts it on pace to be one of the best-selling games ever made.

Funny, but no, this is really on that pace, and unlike gestation, these kinds of things follow more traditional sales curves.

How’s the concurrent player count doing? The number of people playing it on my friends list has declined significantly.

That’s the best part. It doesn’t matter. (But the real answer is still like top 5 on Steam.)

My friend and I dropped it pretty quick after we got our main base mostly built. Just the way she goes—we spend all of our free time playing one game at a time. 80 hours in BG3, then 30 hours into Palworld, and we’re back to Stardew now.

The awesome thing about it is that unlike some games, our base will still be there when we come back. We’ll probably end up playing this off and on for as long as it’s still getting updates.

I think most of us are finishing all the content in the game and moving on to the next one. It isn’t bad that you move on to the next one once you finish this game.

Plus, it’s still in early access. Generally, folks will hit a wall in terms of enjoyment, then give it time to develop and jump back in

Just the nature of early access. After a few big updates or one really major one, it’ll likely surge in numbers again
