Everton boss Sean Dyche says the use of VAR is "testing my patience" after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's red card at Crystal Palace.

Issues with slow-motion video replays are nothing new, they make crimes look worse (and increase incarceration rates), and football is no different. Full speed or nothing, would be my suggestion. I’m also unsure as to why the referee also needs to look at a tackle in addition to multiple VAR referees.

Every time I see a game without VAR I cringe so hard to the point of not caring about those games anymore. VAR has issues but when it’s not there I see how shit football was before it.

The chickens are finally coming home to roost as more and more people in the game realise that VAR is not the answer they thought it was.
