1. Girona doing the impossible.
  2. Sevilla predictably disappointing, knew they had a bad overpayed squad.
  3. Villareal, thr departures and manager choices have hit em hard.
  4. Vigo, unlucky so far.
  5. Cadiz, Mallorca, Granada, appear to be falling 3 positions but essentially where they ought to be.
  6. Osasuna still overperforming compared to their wages but not as muxh as last season.
  7. Vallecano, fuck defence, lets attack brrrrr.
  8. Almeria :(
  9. Las Palmas’ wage bill will grow as they stay up for a few seasons.

Let me say the wage cap in La Liga is an issue, or Almeria with their rich ass owner could be quite the club. On one hand these restrictions force the status quo to remain in power and destroy clubs like Malaga, on the other it disallows the Everton like situations.

Barcelona would be even worse financially if La Liga hadn’t forced these financial regulations. Still how can you expect anyone to challenge the tip clubs if theyre never allowed to spend that kind of money.

I think this is enforced to avoid City/Chelsea situations in La Liga.

More importantly to avoid the Malaga/ Everton kind, where after all the money spent the situation is even worse and someone has to bear those costs. And that comes from the state not the rich owners
