Every few months when I’d check for any word of anything on RoR2 the internet always said that all efforts were focused on Risk of Rain Returns. So to hear they’re also working on more content for 2 is a welcome surprise
consoles will get dlc content today for the anniversary. I think they’ll only announce the dlc properly, and let people play with Risk of Rain Returns for a while before releasing the DLC. it would be bad marketing strategy to split the community between two game
I feel the same, I don’t really trust gearbox, so I’m cautiously optimistic. Hopefully it was a case of Hopoo trusting gear box after their long partnership, and not a case of Hopoo looking to make cash with the sale of Risk of Rain.

Was just thinking of trying out RoR2 and hopefully getting my group to play it (eventually).

They’ve also released glitched patch notes showing comets.
Even though it’s coming this week I don’t know how I feel about this when consoles haven’t gotten the Ro2 rehaul or void dlc yet.

Well it looks like some regions won’t be getting the dlc till the 23rd of Nov.
Not sure why they’ve done that.
It will be the first non Hopoo risk of rain content. Here’s hoping they keep the same weird spirit.

Iirc gearbox already helped with the last dlc. I think they did the level design for hopoo.
