Not idle game, but recently found that stick.run relaunched as a standalone web browser game with no Facebook needed and oh boy, that 2012 nostalgia hit me. Have been having fun.

This is the second time today a day old account posted about this game claiming to have found it. The other post has since been removed as spam.

Profile bio is also a link to the game.

Yeah, I said similar on the other one. I don’t get why they are pretending to be someone that found the game. Surely “hey here is a thing I made” would be just as appreciated? The dishonesty over it is really odd.

Totally agree with you, like, I’m all for people self promoting their shit, as long as they don’t spam it. It shows me that they’re a person who’s excited to share their project with others

I am wondering if it is even their game actually. Starting to suspect they are ripping off someone elses work and putting it on their own website. The webpage linked above the only contact info I can find is [email protected], while the actual game can be found on https://greenwizardgames.itch.io/dwarf-eats-mountain and is by GreenWizardGames. Other games on OPs site can also be found on itch.io from different developers.

It looks like they are stealing the work of indie developers and putting it on their own site and then trying to get people to go there.

The game seems kinda cool, support the real developers rather than this charlatan.

It starts very slow, so be forewarned, but if you’re looking for a long-haul incremental game, I’ll recommend Evolve. I’d estimate roughly 2 years to “finish” it. Legitimately a very good incremental game.
