Today’s game is Halo Master Chief Collection. We’ve been slowly making our way through Spartan Ops Nightly and stopped to take a break and play some PvP. We played a few rounds, but the best was Infection. I ended up being the last man standing. You can tell how hard i fought from all the energy swords littering the ground.
We played a few rounds, and one of the times i ended up not being the last survivor (which is somehow really rare). Being able to roll around is really trippy and also really fun to hunt down friends with. I started hiding around corners to jump out and scare the shit out of them with.
My go to spot though has been the roof. It’s so easy to guard that spot and it’s how i racked up so many points. Just wait for all my friends to come up there and pop pop pop. They all die and that’s 3 points to me.
I didn’t want to be too mean though and leave a fair gap to catch up with, so i tried hiding too. It worked for a bit. I ended up running away though after they saw my invisibility on the mini map.
For the final round me and a group of 4 clustered together in the hallway and guarded it. Everyone else fell. First it was our friend Little Italy who got rolled into and bitten, we were too late. Then it was our friend Chef, who got snuck up on. I don’t even know where the other one died. That left me alive and also brings us to the hallway of fallen swords.
I ended up going upstairs to hold my ground, deciding that’s the best place to do it. I camped out on the central platform for a bit, but decided the platform with a higher angle and off to the side was better as it doesn’t launch them straight into my path. A few lucky headshots later and i made it. Then we went and did Episode 8 of Spartan Ops to round out the night.
