And I started playing Caesar 3 and it felt vaguely like a punishment. Eventually, it stopped feeling like a punishment, I bought my own copy to play at home, and eventually I bought the GOG version, and I’m still here, 26 years later, wondering why the prefect always turns left at that goddamn intersection, and as a result, entire neighborhoods burn.
