This should be a good thing, but Activision killed Toys for Bob. It’s a shame we’ll never see a Spyro sequel.
They killed Vicarious Visions - Toys for Bob still exists last I checked
They’ve been downscaled and relegated to supporting Call of Duty development, so they’re effectively dead.
Vicarious Visions is Blizzard Albany now.
Crash remake sold great too, but not the Crash 4. It feels like people ony really wanted to briefly relive the “good old days” and checked out after playing some of the N. Sane trilogy.
Considering the only okay remake of Spyro 3, I think they knew exactly where the limits of cashing in on nostalgia was.
Really great remake.
Also, fuck Activision.
