“we are disallowing Android and iOS discussion in our communities. We have no intention of porting RPCS3 to these platforms at this time, so no discussion on these topics is needed. Unfortunately, this blanket decision is ultimately needed due to the high toxicity of several individuals in the Android community, who refuse to take no for an answer, some of which have already been banned from our communities.”

Would be great to see RPCS3 team collaborate with the Linux community to create a Linux distro that replace Android on a narrow range of Android smartphones… it doesn’t mean they need to support EVERY android device, just one that has the actual power to emulate the PS3 at decent framerate and price.

It’s not about them working on a Linux distro, but a Linux distro’s team working on tandem with them.

I couldn’t get fuse working on Termux since my phone isn’t rooted, and the extracted appimage binary gives a generic nothing error and exits, so the appimage is out.
The AUR version says it doesn’t support the architecture and the git clone is an empty folder with a one-line README in it.
They really don’t care for Android.
