What is the range of this vessel? It doesn’t say in the article
I think what’s interesting is it sounds like the battery is a set of storage containers. My guess is it supports battery swapping, so while the range might be small, it can refuel as part of exchanging cargo
I couldn’t find a proper answer to this, but the manufacturer says it’ll have a route between Ningbo and Jiaxing, which are quite close. Just for fun I made a little path between the two cities’s harbours, and it was a little under 200km, assuming no stops.
I wonder if it’s logistically viable to have one of these travel the Yangtze waterway, charging along the way
