Insider Gaming has learned that one of Ubisoft's longest in-development projects has survived the latest round of project cancellations.

According to sources, constant changes, pushbacks, and the lengthy development time have likely cost Ubisoft $500+ million in development costs. But, at least for the time being, Ubisoft feels like it’s a cost that is justified.

The only BG&E2 that I cared about about was a direct sequel, and that hope died about 2 decades ago.

Ubisoft did nothing worth a damn for a very long time, and they can blame their shitty management and the army of marketting “experts” ruling their projects for that.
