This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you’re submitting before posting to see if it’s already been posted.

Don’t share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don’t want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

I’ve been opening up foss shooters more, like assault cube reloaded, alien arena, xonotic, rexuiz, red eclipse, cube 2, unvanquished etc.
and older arena shooters like quake 3 arena, quake live
Its dead 90% of the time but its really fast to flick through them and find one with an active lobby.
Really wanna play a 2d sidescrolling shooter but they seem dead
there is ninja.io on the browser as a last resort if you miss that genre
Really like the concept of a game like cortex command, broforce, etc. having deathmatch pvp with the physics and destructible environment
Sauerbraten was really weird but I screwed around with it a lot as a kid.
